Post Cap Adaptor Installation Instructions
To install our post cap adaptors:
- Place adaptor on deck railing directly above existing deck post.
- Insert the included wood screws into pre-drilled screw holes.
- Screw into deck railing until screws become flush with top of post cap adapter.
- Run a bead of exterior-grade adhesive around post, and slip base molding over post and onto glue. Note: If brad nails are preferred, pre-drill all nail holes to avoid splitting.
- Purchase post cap separately and install per included instructions. We provide post caps in a wide array of colors, styles and materials. Our post caps come in a variety of attractive colors and styles ranging from classic to contemporary.
